Two RELHIC candidates in the FEASTS survey
Published:
This talk presents the discovery of two “dark” HI clouds (Cloud N and S) identified during the FEASTS survey, located approximately 70–90 kpc from the center of the M51 galaxy. These clouds are strong candidates for RELHICs (REionization-Limited H I Clouds)—starless, gas-rich dark matter halos limited by cosmic reionization.
Two RELHIC candidates in FAST observations
Published:
The discovery of two “dark” HI clouds (Cloud N and S) identified during the FEASTS survey, located approximately 70–90 kpc from the center of the M51 galaxy. These clouds are strong candidates for RELHICs (REionization-Limited H I Clouds)—starless, gas-rich dark matter halos limited by cosmic reionization. These findings provide significant observational evidence for the existence of primitive, starless dark matter halos in the local universe
Pathways to dark galaxies
Published:
In this seminar, I reviewed several methods and key developments in the computational and observational study of dark galaxies.
